Advertising Poster Le Hulla Opera Middle East Andre Rivoire Marcel Samuel Rousseau. Original vintage advertising poster for an oriental comedy opera in four acts Le Hulla written by Andre Rivoire (1872-1930) and Marcel Samuel-Rousseau (1882-1955). Colourful middle eastern style artwork by Rene H. Pesle featuring a Persian prince holding red roses in his hand as a young lady plays music on a stringed instrument in front of tree with red flowers or fruit decoration against a green and yellow background, the title below in stylised letters. Large size. Printed in France by Imp. Francaises Reunies., Paris. Good condition, folded as issued, creases, browning and minor tears in margins. Country of issue: France, designer: Rene H. Pesle, size (cm): 119.5x79.5, year of printing: 1923.
