Advertising Poster Van Gend en Loos Transportation Truck Art Deco. Original vintage advertising poster for the Dutch distribution company Van Gend & Loos For All Your Transport (the company was established in 1809 and purchased by DHL in 2003). Fantastic Art Deco style design by Fedde Weidema (1915-1999) showing a stylised image of a transport truck with a flag at the front, in deep shadow contrast against a bright blue and coloured background, the text above and below in stylised white and yellow letters with the logo A.T.O. Good condition, restored folds and tears, backed on linen. Country of issue: Netherlands, designer: Fedde Weidema, size (cm): 109x80.5, year of printing: 1948.
