Travel Poster Tivoli Park Copenhagen Art Deco Clown Denmark. Original antique poster for the world's second-oldest amusement park - Tivoli - featuring a fantastic illustration of a smiling clown in a hat looking at the viewer through a torn Tivoli advertisement poster with a peacock feather background and the bold red lettering above. Artwork by the Danish artist Thor Bogelund-Jensen (1890-1959). Opened in 1843, the famous Tivoli Gardens is a pleasure garden and funfair amusement park in Copenhagen Denmark. Horizontal. Acceptable condition, large restored paper losses on edges, restored tears, staining, backed on linen. Country of issue: Denmark, designer: Bogelund, size (cm): 44x61, year of printing: 1922.
