Original vintage London Transport poster featuring a programme of sport and music events - This Week in London Monday 12 December to Sunday 18 December Boxing heavyweight amateur and professional tournaments; Ice Skating ice-drome Hammersmith and Queen's Ice Skating Club Bayswater; Concerts National Sunday League Concert, London Philharmonic Orchestra and Promenade Concert; Rugby Harlequins v. Birkenhead Park and Richmond v. Blackheath featuring a great design by Tom Purvis (1888-1959) with the event information between the bold title text curved above and the London Underground roundel logo below, set again a red shaded background. Printed by Waterlow Sons Limited, London, Dunstable Watford. Good condition, folds, staining, tears on edges, creasing.
