Original vintage travel advertising poster for Southern Railway Island Mainland Connections features a map of the Isle of Wight showing the routes, towns, places of interest including a Roman villa, forest, rivers and golf courses as well as lighthouses, chalk needles, beaches and bays on the English Channel with two smaller inset maps showing the ferry boat and motor car ferry crossings across The Solent and Spithead to Southampton, Portsmouth and Lymington on the south coast mainland and onwards to London and Bournemouth, and the Southern Railway Continental Connections from England to the Channel Islands and France with two text boxes detailing 7 day all island season tickets for 8/- third class and Fishbourne to Portsmouth crossings for Motorists.
