Travel Poster Wiesbaden Germany Lohrer Spa. Original vintage travel poster promoting Wiesbaden in Germany - Jetzt nach Wiesbaden / Now to Wiesbaden - featuring a great design by the notable German graphic artist Hanns Lohrer (1912-1995) of a smiling man wearing a hat and pink suit with a walking stick tucked under his arm, a pink flower blossom tree growing out of his jacket pocket on the blue background, the stylised lettering running diagonally below. The historic town of Wiesbaden located on the Rhine river near the Taunus mountains is one of the oldest spa towns in Europe with its hot thermal springs recorded during the ancient Rome period. Very good condition, folds, pinholes. Country of issue: Germany, designer: Hanns Lohrer, size (cm): 84x59, year of printing: 1955.
