Advertising Poster Greetings Telegrams ER GPO Post Office
Original vintage GPO General Post Office advertising poster - Greetings Telegrams. You can telephone or and in your Greetings Telegrams any day in advance - the Post Office will see that they are delivered early on the day you name. Twelve words for 2/-, 1 1/2d for each additional word. Write your message on an ordinary telegram form with the word Greeting before the address. - featuring an illustration of a lion and unicorn holding the information text, and a crown with ER at the top, set over a red and blue background. GPO logo in the bottom right corner. Fair condition, folds, staining, foxing, creasing, separate sheet attached to main poster in centre. Country of issue: UK, designer: Lynton Lamb, size (cm): 38x25, year of printing: 1950s.
