Advertising Poster Madonna Erotica - Original vintage advertising poster for Madonna's 1992 album Erotica. It was Madonna's 5th studio album and her first release under Maverick, her own multimedia entertainment company. Erotica is a concept album about sex and romance, incorporating her alter ego Mistress Dita, inspired by actress Dita Parlo. Some of its songs also take on a more confessional tone, influenced by the loss of Madonna's two close friends to AIDS. Erotica has been retrospectively considered as one of ”The 100 Best Albums of the 1990s” by Slant magazine. The poster features Madonna posing seductively, dressed in burlesque, exotic dancer style.
