Original vintage USSR poster - Revolution Alphabet 1917 1921 25 October 7 November N11 - featuring the Russian letter L with a poem below a cartoon image depicting a man in the foreground holding up a bloodied knife and crouching over a pool of blood near Moscow marked with a red Soviet star, the green globe background leading towards a man in uniform holding up a bloodied knife by a red Soviet star marked Petrograd (now St Petersburg), the bold stylised title text above. Design by Adolf Iosipovich Strakhov (b.1896). 1960s reissue of the original series first published in 1921. Excellent condition, light stain. Country of issue: Russia, designer: Adolf Strakhov, size (cm): 29.5x38.5, year of printing: 1960s
