Propaganda Poster Space Station USSR Poland Cosmonaut
Original vintage propaganda poster celebrating the Interkosmos Soviet space program?s Soyuz-30 mission. Text translates to English as: Intercosmos 78 joint space flight Soyuz-30. Col. Piotr Klimuk: a perfect hero of the Soviet Union, Commander of the ship. Maj. Dipl. pilot Miroslaw Hermaszewski: cosmonaut-explorer. The image shows Piotr Klimuk and Miroslaw Hermaszewski wearing space suits, photographed through the window of the Interkosmos space station. The text is in a stylised white font on a blue background below the image, with a Polish flag above Hermaszewski?s name and the Soviet flag above Klimuk?s name. The Soyuz-30 flew to the Salyut 6 space station in June 1978. Soyuz 30 carried Pyotr Klimuk and Miros?aw Hermaszewski, the first (and to date, only) Polish cosmonaut. Very good condition, creasing.
