War Poster Pilot Heroes WWII Nazi France Freyberg
Original vintage World War Two French-language propaganda poster flyer issued in Nazi occupied France and aimed at dimishing support for the Allies. The poster is sarcastically titled Heroes of the Air and features three images of British, American and Soviet WWII military leaders surrendering and fleeing by air whilst telling their troops to ?Stand and Defend Yourselves?. The pictures depict English General Freyberg, US hero Douglas MacArthur, and Soviet General Maslenikov, abandoning their troops and climbing into propellor planes. Very good condition, staining in top left corner. Country of issue: France, designer: Unknown, size (cm): 31x21, year of printing: 1940s
