A RUSSIAN GILDED SILVER CIGARETTE CASE CA 1890
An intricately crafted antique silver cigarette case. The lid is decorated with relief gilded overlays with portraits of the Impreter Nicholas II and Empress Alexandra, a horse's head, an imperial eagle with a raised blue stone and a flaming antique urn in the center. On the reverse side, the cigarette case is decorated with the image of a sword in a ceremonial scabbard and the monograms of the emperor and empress under the crown. The inside of the cigarette case is gilded, marked with assay and personal stamps. The date on the side is "1890".Weight: 6.1 oz., 174 g.
