A FRENCH KING LOUIS PHILIPPE PORCELAIN SUGAR BOWL
A 19th Century French elegant King Louis Philippe, Chateau des Tuileries, porcelain Sugar Bowl with light blue grounds and gilt accents. There is a goldtone sitting cherub figurine on the top of the lid. There is a painted aristocratic scene in the gilded vignette on the front of the bowl. There are a Royal emblem and multicolored floral motif on the back. Two bar reliefs located on both sides of the bowl. The lid is richly decorated with floral ornament and a gilded rim. A band of golden leaves encircles the rim of the lid and the mouth of the bowl. Marked on the bottom. Circa 1846.
