A RUSSIAN SILVER EGG WITH NICHOLAS II COIN 1912
A Russian Easter silver egg decorated with two embossed wreaths and two silver coins. One coin is turned with the obverse with the relief image of Emperor Nicholas II (1868-1918), the second coin is reversed with the image of the state emblem of the Russian Empire and dated 1912. The clasp of the egg is decorated with an oval purple cabochon. Both halves inside are marked with the initials I.S (Cyrillic) and 84 silver standard. Circa: early 20th century. Total weight: 87 g.
