A Russian Soviet book, Baski byki arab. Kniga ob Ispanii i Morokko (Tales, Bulls and Arabs. A Book about Spain and Morocco) by Kasimir Edshmid, was an important Expressionist writer, 1890-1966, and Faik Tagirov, was an innovative Constructivist type and book designer who studied at VhUKTEMAS, 1906-1978. Printed in Moscow and Leningrad, Gosizdat, 1929, 235 pp. Illustrated typographical design at each chapter heading also appearing within the text. Original decorated black backed boards. Translated from the German by Elena Eikhengolts. One of 4000 copies.
