VINTAGE ITALIAN WWII M1891 RIFLE SWORD BAYONET
A vintage Italian WWII M1891 Mannlicher Carcano rifle sword bayonet with a single-edged fullered knife blade. It has the correct crossguard with a small muzzle ring and steel sprung bayonet lug button to the pommel. The crossguard is stamped 12225. The bayonet is complete with an original scabbard of blued metal tapering to a rough ball finial. On both sides of the scabbard are three decorative ribs. Circa the 1930s or the 1940s.
