A mid century black and white photograph depicting a dancing couple. Signed in pencil on the backside: N. Field, 625 Caton Ave, Brooklyn, N.Y. Also features a red ink date stamp: Mar 9 1945. Nathaniel Field was an American photographer based in Brooklyn, NY. Most of his work dates back to the 1940s. Joseph Ghislain Lootens, 1903 to 1946, was an American photographer and teacher at YMCA, Field was one of his most prominent students.
