ANTIQUE ROYAL COPENHAGEN PORCELAIN GIRL FIGURINES
Two antique Royal Copenhagen porcelain figurines depicting two girls, one is dressed in pajamas with a book in her hand designed by Christian Thomsen and signed to the base. The other illustrates Thumbelina designed by Holger Christensen and inspired by a literary fairy tale written by Danish author Hans Christian Andersen and signed to the base. Both marked to the bases with the manufacturer stamps and the model numbers 922 and 4374. Circa the late 19th or the early 20th century. Antique Danish Porcelain Figurine Collectibles.
Dimensions: Thumbelina H 3 3/4 in. Standing Girl H 6 7/8 in. All measurements are approximate.
