A 1970s Soviet propaganda poster depicting a Jewish soldier dancing in front of a capitalist for money. Inscription Serve! in Russian in the upper middle. Inscription in Russian on the bottom: Having shown his predatory temper, Tel Aviv is waiting for the pay for robbery. Published by Boyevoy Karandash, RSFSR Artist publishing house, poster no. 2427. Design by J. Efimovsky, verse by M. Romanov. Hallmark in the upper left, publication info in the lower right. Boyevoy Karandash, Combat Pencil, was a creative association of Leningrad artists who produced propaganda posters and collections of satirical drawings starting in 1939.
