Mary Elizabeth King , American, 1899 to 1991, oil painting on canvas depicting a forest landscape. Signed lower right. Framed. Mary King is known for Landscape painting.Born in Springfield, Missiouri on January 19, 1899, Mary King studied at the Corcoran Gallery of Art in Washington, DC, Academie Julian in Paris, Chelsea Art School in London, and with Savini in Florence. By the late 1930s she was a resident of San Francisco. Primarily a miniature painter, she also was a competent landscape painter. One of a kind artwork.
