Steinmans work titled Development of the Physical Theory of Matter, by Sergey Vavilov, 1891 to 1951, a Soviet physicist and President of the Academy of Sciences of the Soviet Union, dated March 31, 1941. A 1965 book titled Life for Science by Pyotr Kapitsa, 1894 to 8 April 1984, a leading Soviet physicist and Nobel laureate of 1978, signed by the author on the flyleaf. A handwritten power of attorney by Leonid Kantorovich, 1912 to 1986, a Soviet economist and Nobel laureate of 1975, dated April 1, 1954. Two typewritten applications for appropriation of service funds written by Alexander Prokhorov, 1916 to 2002, and Nikolay Basov, 1922 to 2001, both Soviet physicists Nobel laureates of 1964, dated February 15, 1982 and December 26, 1986.
