Josif Josifovic Boksay, Russian, Ukrainian, Soviet, 1930 to 2002, oil on canvas landscape painting depicting a mountain view. Signed by the artist dated 1989 lower right. Framed. Josif Josifovic Boksay was a Soviet Ukrainian painter. In 1951 he graduated from the Uzhgorod School of Applied Arts, in 1957 - Lviv Institute of Decorative And Applied Arts, where he studied with his father Iosif Boksay, R. Selsky and I. Gutorov.
