ANTIQUE SIGNED JAPANESE CLOISONNE PLATE WISTERIA
A fine and rare Japanese cloisonne plate featuring a rounded medallion painted with delicate wisteria and other flowers on a deep cobalt blue ground. The cheek is painted with multicolored designs with traditional Japanese shippo motifs and other floral and geometric patterns. The backside is adorned with bright turquoise enamel and a swirl wavy motif. Marked on the bottom. Meiji period, 1868 to 1912. Antique Japanese Metalware And Oriental Decorative Collectibles.
