Keith Haring, American, 1958 to 1990, black marker painting on jeans cloth depicting Pop Modern scenes with dancing men, 1988. Signed and dated lower to the center. Framed. Keith Allen Haring was an American artist whose pop art emerged from the New York City graffiti subculture of the 1980s. His animated imagery has become a widely recognized visual language. He became known for his complex jigsaw puzzle like paintings, intended to be the iconography of American life. Usually, he would begin by making the border around the work and then would go inside the space. One of a kind of artwork.
