ANTIQUE GERMAN MEISSEN PORCELAIN FIGURE OF PUTTI
An antique German Meissen hand painted polychrome porcelain figure. The figure depicts a cherub or putti with a tea making a hot chocolate representing the Fire, from the series The Four Elements. Circa: late 19th century. Design by Johann Joachim Kaendler, German, 1706 to 1775. Mounted on a base, adorned with gilded accents. Marked with a blue crossed swords mark, numbered, G97 and 45, and other marks on the bottom.
