ANTIQUE JAPANESE PORCELAIN SUGAR BOWL BY NORITAKE
An antique early 20th-century white porcelain sugar bowl by Noritake, a Japanese export tableware brand established in the 1870s. The piece has cobalt blue rims with gilt ornaments. The lid is garnished with a hand-painted orientalist picture, a desert view with a camel rider. The bowl has two decorative handles. Hallmark Noritake Made in Japan with the Komaru symbol is on the bottom. This mark is dated 1908 to 1920s. Oriental Tableware And Serveware, Collectible Japanese Export Porcelain.
