ANCIENT BRONZE BUDDHIST AND IRANIAN HORSE FIGURES
A group of four miniature ancient bronze figurines. The lot includes an early Iranian cast bronze figurine, most likely a cheek piece which was originally part of a horses bridle with a loop for transmitting the reins. An antique bronze figurine depicting the head of a horse. A fine miniature cast bronze figurine depicting Buddha seated on a double lotus throne. And a bronze figurine of the Green Tara Bodhisattva whose right hand is turned downwards in the gesture of granting wishes, and the left hand showing the gesture of granting protection. Collectible Ancient Bronze Figurines.
Dimensions: Size: 3 x 3 in. 3 1/2 x 4 1/4 x 2 in. All measurements are approximate.
