ANTIQUE JAPANESE MORIAGE PORCELAIN FLOOR VASE
A large antique Japanese hand-painted porcelain vase. Late Meiji era, before 1912. Rounded shape, pronounced base and neck, two decorative handles by the rims. The piece is richly decorated in the Moriage technique, a type of polychrome enamel painting that produces a three-dimensional effect. The body of the piece features multi-figure genre scenes. Hieroglyphical signature on the bottom. Collectible Japanese Export Porcelain Ware And Oriental Decor.
