1950 RUSSIAN SOVIET PROPAGANDA POSTER KOKOREKIN
A mid century Russian Soviet propaganda color poster print depicting a couple of workers with a hydroelectric power plant and a building under construction in the background. Upper picture shows revolutionaries reading the decree on peace. The inscription in Russian reads: Our policy is a policy of peace! We are going to communism! Signed lower right by Alexei Kokorekin, 1906 to 1959, a Soviet graphic artist, winner of two Stalin prizes. Published by the Iskusstvo State Publishing House, Moscow, Leningrad, 1950.
