An antique Imperial Russian silver cigarette case. The lid is decorated with a relief composition: Tamara and Demon. The Kiss, according to Mihaly Zichy drawing to Mikhail Lermontovs poem The Demon. Gilded interior, red stone push button. Hallmarked inside on both halves with kokoshnik head, Moscow, makers initials KC for Konstantin Skvortsov. Circa 1899-1908. Russian Silverware Decor, Tobacciana Accessories And Antiques. Weight: 173 gm.
