ANTIQUE BARBEDIENNE BRONZE YOUNG FAUN SCULPTURE
An antique bronze sculpture of a young faun after the antique by the Barbedienne house showing the model of the Paros marble young faun dating from the 2nd century AD exposed today in the Louvre. This version is the pudic one, derived from the many reproductions that have been made of this bronze with several variants. The faun rests on a neo-Pompeian base decorated with volutes and supported by antique-style feet. Signed. Antique Bronze Sculptures For Collectors.
