CHINESE CLOISONNE ENAMEL BRONZE MOON FLASK VASE
A large antique Chinese enamel over bronze porcelain moon flask vase with a flared neck. The exterior of the vase is adorned with polychrome enameled medallions with an image of a Phoenix bird surrounded by floral and foliage motifs made in the Cloisonne technique. The neck is decorated with a symmetrical image of Phoenix birds made in the same technique. The base features a traditional Greek ornament made in the same technique. The vase is adorned with a pair of figural handles made in the shape of a mythical creature, probably qilin. Marked with an impressed seal, on the bottom. Circa: late 19th century.
