PAIR OF JAPANESE EARLY MEIJI ERA CLOISONNE PLATES
A hard to find pair of antique Japanese brass and cloisonne enamel plates, each is decorated with delicate polychrome enamel floral arrangement on a dark turquoise blue ground. The back side is also skilfully decorated with blue enamel, polychrome floral motifs and brass wired circles. Unmarked. Meiji period, 1868 to 1912.
