Mordechai Rosenstein, a Jewish born, American, 1934, a serigraph on paper depicting an impressive illustration from the famous Biblical quote Proclaim liberty through out the land. Leviticus 25:10. Especially appropriate for any one working in the legal or political fields: lawyers, judges, senators, activists, and more. Signed and dated 1988 in pencil, lower right. Numbered 167 of 350 in pencil, lower left. Framed. The frame is adorned with a plaque, inscribed, The American Jewish Committee 1989 Human Relations Award Presented to Martin F. Mertz, Chairman and Chief executive Officer, New York, June 21, 1989, lower to the center. Mordechai Rosenstein is a Jewish Russian born artist, known for his vibrant shapes and colors enhance synagogue interiors, tapestries, paintings, murals, and silk screen prints.
