A 1942 Soviet propaganda poster. The print is divided into three parts, each depicting Cossacks on horseback in battle. Each part is titled: Oath of the Cossacks to the Don. In combat. They recaptured their native village. Signed by the artist and dated in the lower right. Design by Mikhail Avilov, 1882 to 1954, a Russian Soviet Era artist. Published by Iskusstvo.
