ANTIQUE CHINESE FISH CARVED JADE AMULET PENDANT
An antique Chinese late Qing Dynasty figural amulet pendant hand carved of patinated Jade, most likely Hotan or Hetian. The oval shaped pendant depicts fish in plants and lotus flowers, engraved with detailed patterns and decorated with pierced through elements. Completed with a braided cord featuring beads. The Hotan region is the main source of the nephrite jade used in ancient China. Circa the late 19th century to early 20th century. Unmarked.
