Attributed to Vladimir Vasilievich Lebedev, Russian, Soviet era, 1891 to 1967, pastel painting on paper mounted on board depicting a portrait of a woman in a hat. Signed with initials, lower left. Vladimir Vasilyevich Lebedev, a Russian and Soviet Avant Garde painter, poster and graphic artist, book and magazine illustrator, founder of the Leningrad school of book graphics. Peoples Artist of the RSFSR, 1966, Corresponding Member of the USSR Academy of Arts, 1967. One of a kind artwork.
