QUEEN ELIZABETH REVERSE GLASS PRINT AFTER HANS HOLBEIN
A rare reverse glass mezzotint print on paper, The Most Illustrious Princess Queen Elizabeth of England, after the painting by Hans Holbein the Younger, German, 1497 98 to 1543. An unusual example of a print, transferred to from an engraved printing plate onto a glass surface and colored or tinted by hand. Inscribed in the print, lower to the center.
