Steven Klein, American, born 1965, color lithograph on paper, Golden Summer, depicting a rural landscape scene. Signed lower right. Titled in pencil, lower to the center. Numbered in pencil, 99 of 350, lower left. Steven Klein is an American artist, who choose to paint in his own stylized version of Americana incorporating some elements of realism and folk art. In this way he can transcend the structures and confines of realism. His technique allows for the use of bright colors, simplicity of form, and fine detail as well as diverse subject matter. He creates what he calls magic perspective enabling the viewer to observe the scene from many different points at the same time. Framed.
