ANTIQUE LITHOGRAPH PORTRAIT OF WILHELM VON RAUCH
Lithograph on paper. German, mid-19th century, ca. 1854. The artwork depicts a portrait of Friedrich Wilhelm von Rauch, 1790 to 1850, a lieutenant general in the Prussian Army and military attache at the Russian court of Emperor Nicholas I. Print executed by von Meyer, from a drawing by Prof. Krueger. Framed. The backside features numerous labels, including J.P. Schneider art store in Frankfurt am Mein and a plate with inventory number, private collection of Ludovica von Stumm, descendant of the portrayed.
