GERMAN WWII SCHUTZENSCHNUR MARKSMAN CORD F TANK CREWS
A German WWII ceremonial Schutzenschnur, marksman cord for excellent shooting for tank crews of the Wehrmacht. The tightly woven cord of silver and gold tone thread with a tank badge in the center and the Nazi Germany eagle above it. The marksmans cords were introduced on June 29, 1936, to increase interest in marksmanship and to recognize good marksmen. The cords were available in 12 grades for infantry and armored personnel.
