LITHOGRAPH POSTER ALEXANDER CALDER GRENOUILLE ET CIE
Alexander Calder, American, 1898 to 1976, an offset lithograph poster La Grenouille et Cie for the exhibition held at Pace Gallery in Columbus, Ohio, in 1971. The poster features a printed Calders signature in the lower right corner. Calder is known both for his innovative mobiles that embrace chance in their aesthetic, his static stabiles, and his monumental public sculptures. Provenance: a well-preserved time capsule within the prestigious Decoration and Design Building in New York City, a landmark trade hub celebrated among top interior designers.
