Six Lenox Riverwood Mugs and Decorative Ceramics Including a Jasperware-Style Trinket Box - Six stoneware mugs in the Riverwood pattern by Lenox, each decorated with a transfer-printed illustration of a Bobwhite Quail by artist Catherine McClung below a brown diagonal-striped border. The collection includes a circular lidded trinket box in matte blue stoneware, featuring white bas-relief decoration of a classical female figure in a horse-drawn chariot surrounded by a border of relief-moulded roses. Two hand-painted earthenware baskets with fixed handles are present, one finished in a turquoise mottled glaze and the other in cream with floral sprays. The group is completed by a large cream earthenware serving bowl with a central reddish-brown mandala transfer and a selection of decorative dishes, including a blue scalloped-edge plate with orange flowers and two rectangular dishes with floral patterns. The mugs bear a printed brown backstamp on the base reading LENOX Riverwood Bobwhite Quail By Catherine McClung, accompanied by a bird motif and text indicating they are freezer, oven, microwave, and dishwasher safe. No other maker's marks are visible on the remaining items.
