Mid-to-Late 20th-Century Oak and Oak Veneer Twin-Pedestal Desk - A mid-to-late 20th-century twin-pedestal desk crafted from oak veneer with solid oak mouldings. The rectangular top is inset with a dark blue leather-effect writing surface, embellished with a gilt-tooled border. The desk is arranged with two pedestals: the left-hand side contains three graduated drawers with brass-finished circular pull knobs, while the right-hand side features a single cupboard door on a full-length piano hinge. The cupboard interior is fitted with a single fixed shelf. The piece is supported by four short square-section legs. No maker's marks, manufacturer stamps, or labels are visible on the exterior or interior of the piece.
