Three Mid-Century Modern Design Stylized Brass and Cast Metal Animal Figurines - Three mid-20th-century design decorative animal figurines including a pair of long-necked birds and a single upright giraffe. Likely later 20th century production. The bird figurines are constructed from a copper alloy, likely brass, and are rendered in a sleek, elongated modernist form. One bird is depicted with an upward-reaching neck, while the other features a neck arching downwards; both transition into simplified bodies resting upon flared, circular bases. These pieces are finished with a dark-patinated surface that shows signs of intentional distressing to reveal the golden tones of the metal beneath.
