Mid-20th Century Black Bakelite Wall-Mounted Rotary Dial Telephone - A mid-20th-century wall-mounted rotary dial telephone, featuring a classic pyramid-style black Bakelite casing and matching handset. The telephone is equipped with a chrome-finished metal rotary dial featuring a white ring with black Arabic numerals from one to zero. A handwritten number '65' is visible behind the clear plastic window at the centre of the dial. The handset is connected to the base by a brown braided fabric cord. The reverse of the unit features a black-finished metal backplate with twin circular perforated patterns. Affixed to this metal plate is a rectangular paper label printed with the alphanumeric characters '4504 AB'. No other maker marks, logos, or brand names are visible on the external surfaces of the device.
