Mid-Century Modern Teak Highboard Sideboard - A Mid-Century Modern teak highboard of two-tier construction, dating from the late 20th-century. The upper section features an open storage area with two adjustable shelves to the left, beside a fall-front drinks cabinet to the right which is accessed via an inset oval wooden handle. The lower sideboard base is configured with a bank of three drawers to the left and a double-door cupboard to the right. The unit is constructed from teak veneers with characteristic solid teak recessed smiley handles and sits on a recessed plinth base attributed to the manufacturer Nathan. The side panels display a distinctive curved, tapering profile typical of British furniture design from the 1960s. No maker's marks, manufacturer's labels, or brand stamps are visible.
