Mid-Century Ercol Windsor Model 469 Elm Bureau - A Mid-Century English elm and beech writing bureau from the Windsor range by Ercol, dating to the late 20th-century. The piece is constructed from solid elm featuring characteristic rounded corners and exposed dovetail joinery to the top. The configuration includes a fall-front upper section that opens to reveal a writing surface and a fitted interior with a central divider and horizontal shelving. Below, a two-door cupboard provides open storage, situated above a single full-width drawer at the base. The unit is fitted with recessed pebble-shaped wooden handles and stands on a plinth base. The interior of the left cupboard door retains a circular gold label reading 'ERCOL 469 MADE IN HIGH WYCOMBE BUCKINGHAMSHIRE ENGLAND'.
