Mid-20th Century William Daniels Design Wood Radio-Controlled Model Gaff Schooner Yacht Prospero - A mid-20th century radio-controlled model sailing yacht, designed as a gaff-rigged schooner named Prospero. The vessel is constructed with a wooden hull finished in black and red, separated by a gold-painted waterline. The deck features laid wooden planks with a varnished finish, detailed with two mahogany-coloured deckhouses, hatches, and assorted metal and wooden fittings. The masts, booms, and gaffs are fashioned from polished wood, supporting a full suite of fabric sails including a mainsail, foresail, and jibs with stitched reinforcements. A decorative plaque on the bow bears the raised letters PROSPERO. The yacht is accompanied by its original hand-drawn design plans, which are inscribed SCALED DOWN PROSPERO FROM FULL SIZE BY WM DANIELS. BY RALPH PAVEY.
