Vintage Household Collectibles and Advertising Objects including a Colman's Starch Crate Panel - A group of early 20th-century and vintage household decorative objects and advertising items. The collection is highlighted by a large wooden panel from a Colman's packing crate, featuring black stencilled text reading Colman's Starch and BULL'S HEAD with a central bull motif. A further stencil across the top of the timber reads WARRANTED FREE FROM ADULTERATION. Also included is a wooden box with a hand-painted lid depicting architectural ruins in a landscape within a red floral border, and a small domed wooden box decorated with intricate geometric Sadeli-style micro-mosaic inlay. The lot further comprises a black-painted wooden abacus with dark-coloured beads, a brown textured leather-effect attaché case with metal hardware, a small wooden block stencilled with A B C D, and a wooden tool component with a red-painted wheel. The items are presented in a green-painted wooden tray. No other maker marks or signatures are visible.
